BODY / CONSEQUENCE
A duck does not receive a perfect walk. It inherits possibilities, meets weight and distance, falls, gets up, and carries forward what the meeting changed.
Not the command. The consequence: nearer or farther, held or slipping, recoverable or fatal.
LANGUAGE / SURPRISE
A reader begins with little. It predicts, hears what actually came next, and lets the difference alter what future words can mean together.
Not words alone. The distance between expectation and arrival.
CHOICE / REFUSAL
A puzzle can always be forced by search. This experiment asks something narrower: can a choice remain unmade until the evidence can carry it?
The difference between an answer and a guess wearing an answer’s clothes.
02 / FOLLOW THE THREAD
A relationship survives contact.
The learner notices. It expects. It acts. The world refuses to become the expectation. Something of that disagreement is carried into the next moment.
Call it gait in a body. Context in a sentence. Restraint in a choice.
The name changes because the world changed. The shape underneath is the part worth noticing.
The same relationship appears three times:
what was expected / what occurred / what survives
That is enough to understand the work. It is not enough to reconstruct it.
MEMORY IS NOT A WAREHOUSE
“The past should not command the present. It should change what the present can feel.”
As experience grows, old context cannot remain equally loud. It is compressed, focused, revisited, and sometimes allowed to dissolve. The useful thing is not a longer list. It is a sharper relationship.
03 / THE PUBLIC BOUNDARY
You can inspect the creature, the reader, the solver, their ledgers, their mistakes, and the interface where a private commitment provider may meet them.
That is enough to test the ideas without publishing the thing that makes their private implementation identical.
